Sunset and Seal Skin

At the Floe edge one night looking for seal. We didn't see a single one but were sure treated to one heck of a beautiful sunset. This is about a 2 hour ski-doo ride out onto the sea ice of Cumberland Sound. It can be quite a dangerous trip for a un-seasoned driver.

Auyuittuq Highway

Here a big Convoy of Ski-doos pull qamotiqs with passengers into Auyuittuq National Park to see Thor Peak and have tea at the Arctic Circle.

Busted Berg

Maybe not the prettiest berg i've seen but this one sure had some character.

The Road Not Taken

Every so often while out on the land something happens that you can't help but to smile about. Moments before Markus drove up a rather steep hill. He chose to drive the more difficult and challenge route up instead of going the more straightfoward way. I asked him why, he replied with " my way was much more fun!" I immediately thought of a few words by Robert Frost " I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.."
